FACTION: Millefiore Family

ABILITIES: Uni is the leader of a group whose modus operandi is "attack first, ask questions later." It's safe to assume that Uni has respectable combat skill under her belt, as well as some knowledge of battle tactics and weaponry. Millefiore's strength is rooted in a combination of magic and technology. [To be added to when more canon information is available]

PERSONALITY: A young lady with a maturity beyond her years-- so much so, it makes people wonder if she ever had a childhood. She is in strict control of her actions and emotions, though those close to her can see past the icy veneer and know what's really going on in her head. Those people are few and far between; even her closest subordinates are rarely taken into her confidence.

While she is very demanding upon herself, she is less severe with subordinates-- so long as they respect her and do whatever she asks. The ends always justify the means, no matter how nasty and underhanded they are. Even allies are valid targets, if they're no longer useful. But Uni's actions, however cruel, are in the name of a passion for her heritage. The Giglio nero name carries with it a noble history, power and wealth; all of which she has every intention of carrying into the future.

HISTORY:
+ The Giglio nero is a mafia family with a very long, illustrious history. (Though it's not as powerful or influential as other families).

+ Was trained from a very young age to be a mafia leader, and the tenets of the Giglio nero Family's philosophy, which values strength over strategy.

+ Her upbringing was regimented and strict, but she is more appreciative than resentful for the structure.

+ Due to the lack of comparitive power to other families, the Giglio nero family merged with the up and coming Gesso family, to form the Millefiore family.

+ The merger isn't exactly new, but there are still conflicts and issues of mistrust between the two families within Millefiore.

+ While Byakuran and Uni are both considered heads of Millefiore, for the most part, it seems like Byakuran is actually the one in charge. [Note: Whether or not this is actually the case remains to be seen in Canon.]

+ Uni is angry about her current position within Millefiore, and the merger itself, but for the sake of peace, and other reasons known only to herself, she has decided to hold her tongue.

Personality: As the boss of a Mafia family which has a history as longstanding and rich as that of the Vongola, she's got a lot of pride in her, but she's hardly the type to talk about it. She seems to be the polar opposite of Byakuran, both in attitude and appearance. As restrained as he is lax, to the point where she simply sits quietly, even when others might feel compelled to react. Her silence still manages to get her point across all too clearly. Distant and cold, even those closest to her in the Black Spell hierarchy are not taken into her confidence. Whatever Uni truly thinks and knows, seem limited to herself and herself alone-- or to those who know her all too well.

Uni's faction, the Black Spell, has a "kick ass first, ask questions later" policy, and tactics of any kind are employable, so long as they achieve the desired results-- even if that means resorting to internal sabotage. The dissonance in conduct has made the relationship between the Gesso and Giglio Nero family are tenuous at best, and with mistrust on both sides, it may be only a matter of time before the factions truly turn on each other.
