A new fibre broadband company approached us with the aim of building a brand to establish credibility, trust and excitement at a national level.
The company were offering superfast fibre broadband across Wales, with the intention of revolutionising online life for homes and businesses. We needed to reflect the scale and speed of their offering: a next-generation digital network, faster than ever. With a new name – Ogi – we created a bold and energetic identity, along with a digital vision and campaigns support. Ogi has a big personality, it’s warm, optimistic and inclusive, and proud to be Welsh.
An uplifting identity
The wordmark was designed with optimism in mind. Bold and approachable, we wanted this brand to feel friendly, robust and reliable – to sum up the Welsh spirit.
A bold representation
We created a suite of illustrations to represent the people of Wales. These show an inclusive set of characters, and convey a vivid, bold personality.
A call to action
Togetherness is at the heart of the Ogi campaign strategy. The energetic visuals show the response to an exciting proposition: superfast fibre broadband that fosters connection. We communicated our ‘real fibre’ proposition with bilingual flexibility to encourage the good people of Wales to join the Ogi movement.
Real broadband
We also brought the Ogi spirit to real-world environments. By applying the bold graphic language to a variety of touchpoints, such as billboards, livery and signage, we boost everyone’s experience, be it at the head office or out in the community.
Results
Launched in June 2021, Ogi has quickly become a fast-growing Welsh business. The brand is helping to drive this commercial growth: website visits have doubled since June 2022, and recent monthly lead levels have increased by 180%. A survey of Ogi’s target audience indicated 65% brand awareness amongst its target markets. The brand has also helped Ogi to attract talent – the Ogi team has grown from 50 to 200 people.
