…Boston — yes!
For the States’ 250th, TWENTY (mostly) tall ships invited from around the world — led by the USS Constitution! — will sail in Boston harbor on July 11 (assembling on July 10 in the outer harbor). Check the Sail Boston 2026 site for more.
At least one of them (the Dutch “Oosterschelde”) will be going further north for a July 23 (Parade of Sail) – 26 visit.

In other scuttlebutt, I was reading a bit of the news this morn, and it added to one welcomed thought about irony.
Between all the oil field bombing, the Hormuz troubles, and the TSA shutdown, one can read the writing on the wall. The one thing that maga wants least is actually going to be brought about, eventually, and by all true-tale-tellers will (in part) last for potentially years:
A greener footprint!
Less oil and gasoline consumption = less driving, less flying, less shipping and trucking (and by default, toggling more commitment to establishing alternative heating and vehicle fueling sources at last, and perhaps even toggling a serious return to more local commerce).
AND, it seems to me, the blame will be widely laid at the feet of HWSNBN — become his *legacy* which would be an ironic bonus because he would hate it. Amen, may it be so. (Meanwhile, may we all stop dying from his illegal war.)
