[his transmission is a little static ridden, moreso than usual, almost like he's underground or there's a really decent amount of interference considering the normal clarity of most network posts. Caim doesn't seem to care, though, although he doesn't seem all that pleased, either. There's a distinct restraint to his voice, one part clearly holding back some sort of need to rant over what he's about to speak on, the other just holding onto something that's never going to come out but wasn't there edging his personality before.]

This is starting to become a pattern. Why am I not surprised? However, is it really necessary for external terror to reign in order for you to behave yourselves?

It's hard to make out what he's saying but the tone is nothing but comforting and maybe even borderline pleading like he's been at it for a while. But Fallon and the transmission line are only to be met with silence from Caim himself before the connection times out.]

[With the defeat of the trials, the current characters involved in this log and this log: while you did solve the puzzles, and perhaps you even already got the key, the "pillar" you're all standing on will suddenly distort, crack, and crumble away. And you will Fall. Despite the two groups being at separate parts, all of you will ultimately end up in the same place. Your character will hit ice and that will be what will break their fall as they slide the rest of the way to some form of a solid surface.

They'll ultimately end up in a setting very similar to an ice crystal cavern (or this, whatever your imagination prefers).

Have fun, take a look around, because after a few moments a very unhappy Ice Magister will emerge from the shadows. It's easy to see he's not exactly well, and he's certainly not himself. Best be careful of him.]

ooc: tl; dr ---> if your character was on a pillar for the trials, the pillars collapsed upon solving the puzzles and your characters have either been a) sent to the above described place (ice crystal cavern with Caim) or b) thrown back out into the cathedral where the entrance to the tree was/the portals were. Your choice. If you want your character to go to the caverns at this point to join in, just jump in the log (we'll make it simple: they entered to tree via a portal and just... fell since there isn't a pillar anymore to land on).

[the communicator transmission starts and there's a small amount of scraping against the speaker heard before it stops and the line idles in fizzling quiet. He's given up trying to grab for it and make use of it.

There's a bit of violent heavy and wet coughing before he finally is able to speak and when he does, his voice is distant, but not because he's far from the speaker. Nothing personal, he just isn't... good with any women around him physically except for Ava and his younger sister. Just, don't try to be an ass and injure him further he may be pretty fucked up but he can still completely rape you, especially on this plane. OOC INFO// : [For anyone who went with Nel, Basically, what was : After they get to the first door, after fighting a lot of monsters, Caim would have helped them with the riddle once they actually let him know what it was (it changes periodically, thus they would have needed to read it. Once inside the Cherubim control center, he'd have them wander around through random files, both electronically (oh, why, yes, there are computers in Nuadoria in some places :) ), and through some books to find some access information on the Seraphim file on the computer. Once they are able to access that and break a lock on the computer file with an access code found in one of the books in the control room, a secret door will open that will descend them into a further lower level. Somewhere between the Cherubim control room and actually getting to Seraphim, I'd say they get into a pretty dangerous situation, so let's SAY they get attacked by a rather huge nasty child that's been nesting around there and chases them forever. I don't know. You can fill in the details, but it was a dramatic journey from point A to point B. Usually it's a lot more of a smooth transition, but you also usually can't get to Cherubim Control Room as easy as the characters did as there are several other layers (that were destroyed so there was no need to go through them, particularly in the Otherworld). Once in Seraphim, Seraphim is basically a very large room that is something like a control room as well, but it's a lot less mechanical and more mystical. In this room, there are no computers, but information is flowing around in certain points of the air that the characters could reach and touch (think highly advanced touch screens), although most information would have required passcodes to access so they wouldn't really be able to do much snooping unless Caim gave them info. The biggest points in Seraphim are the following:

1) The information the characters find out about Otherworld. They learn a lot about it actually and how it works and how the Cathedral bell system alerts the shifting of the status of the city now, for reasons unknown. They learn about its parasitic nature and the type of childs that roam it, that were able to take the form of enemies familiar to them from their homeworld and etc. They also will have learned that if Otherworld stay in place for an extended period of time, the entire plane will start to physically crumble away. Caim mentions that Gaea never would have let it get that far even if Dai wasn't playing negotiator, but he fails to mention the details as to why she wouldn't have had. He also explains to them a little about the opposite plane (although there's no much information in the system on it), the Regneration Plane. He makes no mention of summoning it or how they can summon it and if anyone suggests it, he simply tells them its not necessary to restore Nuadoria to how it was.

2) Caim is physically there with the party the entire time, and something to note is that while he is on the Niflheim plane the entire time, he does not need to use a communicator to talk with them. In fact, he's even somewhat visible to the characters, and acts a little bit like a ghostly entity wandering around the area. They can hear him and see him, albeit transparently, and anything he touches from his side of the plane (remember all the different "planes" parallel one another. So there is a Seraphim room on Niflheim), reacts accordingly on the physical plane the characters are on as well. One thing to note is he isn't alone, there's a rather massive panther-like cat stalking his every move. While no one can hurt him and they'll go right through him if they try to attack him or whatnot, the cat will violently attack back if anyone tries to start a brawl. It, too, will also go through the characters, but, well... you know, have fun with that.

3) While this place is mostly a mystical, heavily magically damped area with information databases housed in magic, it also houses a few other things. And one of those things would be the body of a very young woman encased in some type of crystallization material. She seems to be asleep, or perhaps died, and asking Caim will get a very cold shoulder response from him concerning her. However, any attempt to approach her will get you a rather nasty reaction. Do remember, while characters and Caim's kitty can't cross planes to harm one another, Caim's element transcends to the physical plane. Anyone being really obnoxious about the girl and trying to approach her would have easily met with an ice wall and an ice pick somewhere where it'd hurt if they continue to be stubborn. Don't touch her, stay away from her, she's important to him GTFO, k.

4) Gaea removes the Otherworld, but the characters are the ones who accidentally activate the plane of Regeneration. When otherworld is recalled, all the disorienting stuff happens at an amplified level in Seraphim, so consider one.. or all of them somehow responsible for accidentally acitivating the plane of regeneration (we won't go into HOW it happens, just that it did and none of them are quite sure how, even Caim). Just know, Caim will thank you all very much later.

5) Caim would have sent the group of characters back out to the library entrance once they all regained their bearings (he would have been affected by the bell sounds and etc as well even though he's a native), so they should all be fine, if not a little dazed and confused. And more informed and curious about stuff than before they went down there.
