Several readers pointed out that acronyms and other jargon need definitions. A glossary makes more sense than repeatedly footnoting every post. The underlying problem is that a lot of my observations are novel enough not to have the necessary existing vocabulary. New terms are needed for meaningful exploration. But I lack the literary chops for good coining and mediocre neologisms are insufferably twee. Hence the preponderance of acronyms as terms pile up.

The list will be added to as new terms appear. Presently, it’s short enough that my own original terms as well as other uncommon words others coined are all together alphabetically. Non-originals are credited.

Abstract Reality. A Band term for ontologically immaterial realities. Capable of absolute precision and iterability not found in the physical world, but only sensorially perceptible in material manifestations. With material constraints. The measure of Abstract truth then is logical consistency as it is known intellectually. Abstract and Material Realities are symbiotic in human thought process. Sense data being Material knowledge and logical cognition being Abstract. The linked post explains the basic Ontological Hierarchy.

Autarkic Imperialism. The alternative to Clown globalism. The Script is aware of pending systemic failure and appears to be an effort to get ahead of it. Jump to what comes next. This makes it anti-globalist by necessity as well as ideology, since that’s what’s collapsing. From the original post:

getting out of most foreign dependencies [w]hile cleaning up the house and the yard. That’s autarkic… The imperialist part is the aggressive stance towards the region. The vision isn’t a hermetic, self-sufficient garden fortress. It’s a regional hegemon supported by the regional flunkies

Base Code. The basic operating information everyone has imprinted from childhood on. On the most general level, it’s encultured subjectivity. But it spans everything from tying shoes to work tasks to core beliefs. How it changes depends. FTS-1 base codes are always evolving and updating as new information is processed. FTS-2 locks up at a point. After which changes are scarce - things emotionally seared into the psyche. Click for a detailed post on CLI, including the base code.

Beast System. The basic inversion of reality behind the House of Lies. The socio-cultural systemic path from Enlightenment metaphysical inversion through increasing centralization via financialization towards globalization. There’s something metaphysical about it. Historically, degenerate societies have things in common. Centralized control by an unchecked elite with global ambitions. The satanic path of Babel for Christians. Click for a long post.

CLI. Can’t Learn from Information. The condition afflicting what looks like a considerable majority where empirical or logical information can’t be processed in a lasting way. There is a subconscious base code that contains necessary information. But it changes very little and in unpredictable ways. The CLI crowd is directed by emotional impulses through screens that temporarily occupy their RAMs, to use a computer metaphor. If they trigger base code feelings. Contrary information - no matter how glaringly true - bounces off like BBs off a tank. And when a new series of pulses revs up, the RAM dumps, and the precious all-consuming thing becomes as if it never was. This kind of emotional direction is traumatic, explaining a host of psycho-social problems. Click for a more detailed post.

Clown World. The late-stage metastasis of the House of Lies. This isn’t an original term, but the common definition fits perfectly. As the beast system deviated further from reality over time, its delusion bubble got more and more fake. 20th century modernism pushed it into full inversion, creating the House of Lies. Deviation continued into the current absurdity where the most bizarre, fantasy word magic side of the House of Lies has become actual policy. Active war on reality itself is a material end point, since systems require structure by definition. Systemic collapse will follow. The form is unclear at present.

Clown World 2.0: Whatever this current metastasis of the House of Lies playing out in DC is. The Script replaced the old clown faction with a new set of reality-fleers, under the pretense that a mentally declining, bloated fugazi puppet will … well, the specifics aren’t really spelled out. And by the fruits, grandiose promises have been replaced with more actionless NPC narrative service. The anti-SJW bent is preferable in the short term, but there’s little to do with American greatness.

FTS 1 & 2. The two wings of the Functionally Two Species model. This started as a metaphor to explain how so many people are incapable of escaping the House of Lies - even when self-preservation is at stake. Grasping CLI made it much more literal. FTS-1 exist in actual reality, learn from information, and adjust thoughts and opinions appropriately to varying degrees. They question narratives and change course when they find out they were wrong. FTS-2 are narrative huffers. They accept the House of Lies as true. Most CLI and are directed by emotional pulses from screens that trigger reactions in the base code. NPCs are the purest FTS-2 and exhibit no independent cognition at all. Gamma. An SSH category given to dishonesty, delusional self-regard, obsession, cowardice, and empty posturing. Not an original term - Vox Day mapped the entire SSH - but ideal for this online world. The SSH and CLI issues are orthogonal, but there are a lot of Gammas in the smarter end of the FTS-2 pool. Bigger RAMs hold enough narrative to appear “smart” but information-based exchanges end badly. Click for the definitive site by the concept’s originator.

House of Lies. The post-War socio-cultural delusion bubble that “the modern West” devolved in place of reality. A vertically integrated web of deception from every mainstream societal pillar based on centralized institutional capture and information control. FTS-2 sustains it with mass faith in its delusions, sloth, and thoughtless vanity. The layers are historical, starting with Enlightenment fictions like creation ex nihilo, sovereign reason, and human fungibility. Each brick of Progress! moving further from the truth. Idea laundering. A House of Lies technique for reading falsehoods into mainstream socio-culture or law. A hollow credentialist LARPing as an expert simply proclaims the falsehood good and true in report or opinion piece. Beast puppets can then point to the credential as proof the idea is legitimate.

Infocognition. The interconnected empirical and logical processes in human understanding. This isn’t an original term - it was coined by Christopher Langan but perfectly fits the Band’s Ontological Hierarchy. Abstract and Material reality can be separated theoretically, but our existence is physical and mental. Information is what we cogitate on and cognition is how we understand information. A reminder that theoretical distinctions aren’t necessarily materially relevant.

Material Reality. A Band term for ontologically physical realities. Directly empirically perceptible but finite - temporalized, entropic, and imprecise in constraining ways. The measure of Material truth is empirical perception - Material Reality is known by observation. It is possible to devise or derive endless abstract constructs that can’t materially exist. Abstract and Material Realities are symbiotic in human thought process. Sense data being Material knowledge and logical cognition being Abstract. Narrative Concierge: Pseudo-alternative platform that pretends to want American greatness, but perpetuates the objective myth of “President Trump” as independent crusader against “the Deep State” restoring a late 20th-century boomercuck delusion that never was. While never addressing any on the points brought up here or by other reality-facers. Uses credibility from acknowledging old lies to advocate for new lies.

Narrarive Washing. The House of Lies survives by ignoring and suppressing hostile truths. To the point where they may not exist. But sometimes reality gets too insistent and some minimal amount of truth needs to come in the delusion bubble. Certain media organs are given “credibility” in the House of Lies and can present the most sanitized version into the official narrative.

NUC. The Non-Urban Continuum of mainstream mid 70s-mid 90s socio-culture in rural, small town, small city, and outer exurb environments. Obviously this lumps together a lot of differences, but non-city kids shared a lot of formative experiences and attitudes. Click for the initial post.

NPC. Non-Player Character. Not an original term, but a perfect description of the full CLI end of the FTS-2 pool. Basically the meme definition for people who have completely outsourced any agency to House of Lies emotional pulses and pre-programmed talking points. Since the House of Lies is an artificial structure like a game, those moths moving only to its flame really are the IRL equivalent to video game staffage.

Nothing Works Anymore. A condition of this stage of the collapse where basic technological and other infrastructure starts breaking down or goes unrepaired. There are a lot of reasons - cultural degradation, environmental and institutional enstupiding, mass immigration, materialists ideologies, etc. It’s a big reason why I preach anti-fragility and self-reliance.

ORR. Observe, Read, React. A process developed from childhood as a socially-unintuitive outlier to understand new contexts. In social environments, maintain reserve to avoid misstepping out of ignorance, carefully watch what is going on, and determine how best to engage before piping up. In analytical contexts, suppress quick conclusions, gather and remember information, and determine possibilities before opining. Click for more.

Paste Train or The Paste Train also Sounding Louder. Shorthand for the future of pod dwellings, cricket paste, and some sort of AI / VR system that I think is The Script’s “humane” solution for degenerated masses. Probably via some sort of UBI. It’s the logical end point for the current NPC arc. And most will just sign on up. For the weather or some such.

Screens. The glowing portals that think for FTS-2 by transmitting emotional pulses from the House of Lies.

The Script. Whatever contrivance is directing the current US government. It became obvious part way through the Period of the Six Bidens that events were proceeding inorganically. And that Trump would be re-elected via a narrative following some rough Q beats. This proved correct, but I have no idea how things work. Only that events continue to be inorganic or a show and committed to keeping a de-clowned House of Lies. The Script now refers to the shadowy ruling junta (the Scriptwriters) and its plan.

Scriptwriters. Whoever is directing The Script. The current ruling faction in the collapsing House of Lies. Appear to be using “Trump” as a distracting laser pointer while implementing an AI driven control system. Also appear to be losing to Nothing Works Anymore.

Secular Transcendence. A Band term for the fundamental error of the Enlightenment and subsequent beast system and its House of Lies. Pretending Abstract absolutes inhere in Material finitude. This is a necessary consequence of materialism denying the reality of metaphysical strata. Click for a summary post.

SSH. Socio-Sexual Hierarchy. A set of basic profiles that men fall into with important behavioral consequences. This is not an original term but a concept worked out by Vox Day.
