Yeah, yeah, I'm a bit late. It's been busy 'round and about all of the sudden. ~~This is what I get for being a hunter, I guess.~~ Can't say I can complain though, the money's good.

It's sounding like everyone's had a good Christmas, and I'm glad to hear that. Hope everybody has a great New Year! Just don't get to smashed, now.

I've been to weddings before, but, DAMN. That was one hell of a wedding. You'd have thought two world leaders were gettin' married. But then, I guess you could kinda say that, couldn't ya? Mrs. Farinox, Mr. Raaz, congrats to you both! You've got plenty of years ahead of ya to enjoy yourselves.

And Ginia? Hell of a Halloween party. You'd have thought Akula really was a familiar with the way he darted about when you told him too. Lemme know if you plan to have one again next year, I'd love to drop by.

That said, Zeke enjoyed getting to go to one of the local parks after I took care of a job. I don't think he's been in an actual tree for a few months now, so it was good for him to get out again.

Well, these past two months have certainly been fun and nothing short of it. 'Least everything's settled down now, which is good. Got a few things sorted out as well, which is also good.

...Though I'm going to have a few more expenses now. Need to get in touch with some people about that.

Well, that was certainly fun. Next time there's a dragon about, someone please remind me not to attempt to track it? That was an effort in futility that ended up in wading through trash-filled water.

Ah, um, I got some bad news from Lazarus this morning. Seems like the people back home have decided to step up the search for me. There's a bounty on me back home, so I wouldn't be surprised if one pops up here soon, too.

...He also mentioned tanks. I don't like the sound of tanks.

Zeke is glad I came back in one piece, though.

So, somebody's pet seems to be on the lose and sending people into a panic. So, why hasn't anyone caught it? It's an over sized lizard, come on. The authorities aren't really on their toes if they can't stop someone's pet from running around on the loose.

...Pfft, if I was back home people wouldn't even give this a second look. You get used to shit happening when you live in the middle of civil unrest. Someone's exotic pet got out and nabbed a couple people somebody would catch the thing soon enough.

Maybe I'll go do some tracking. See what I can do.

Ahhh, quiet as always. I think I'm finally getting used to it. But that's all besides the point. I'm actually really excited, I just got a message from a friend back home saying a personal possession of mine arrived. Perfect timing too.

But with that in mind, I should probably take a look at the city's rules on motorcycles. ~~And then pay them no mind.~~

Well... That was an interesting event. Not quite sure what exactly to make of some things, though it did turn out to be a damned good night once all was said and done.

Hm... I don't know if it's good or bad that Erika knows what I am, but... I can only wait and see. I may have been told about a few tricks of the Hunter trade back home, but Erika does this for a living.

I don't know what to do about this just yet. Hell, maybe I'll be off scott free after the other night.

Ahhh, who needs a job when you can clean house with drinking games?~ I swear, I've got more money now than I've ever had before. I've already got my apartment fully furnished. I could really get used to living here.

That is, provided I ignore all the slavery crap. That, that reminds me of home. In a very bad way.

Ah, s'nice to be settled in. Managed to find a good apartment the first day I arrived in Ametiton. Though I'm already sharing my apartment with someone. A little momonga (dwarf flying squirrel, for those who don't know), stowed away in my duffel bag when I was at the train station, I think. He's somewhere around here now... I think he curled up in one of the chairs earlier.

I've been calling him Zeke, and he seems to like the name. That or he just likes being inside where it's warm. I'm not sure, momonga's are odd little things.

Ah, there was that party too. I am damned glad I can hold my liquor, I can't remember just how many drinking contests I won. But I made... Just short of $5500. Amazing how many people kept challanging me. But I can't complain, it means I don't have to look for a job for a while~

Well, this has proved to be quite the fruitful plan. I've earned more than enough money for a ticket out of here, even if it meant cleaning out and being kicked out of almost every bar in this city to get it done. So I think I'll use some of my extra cash to stock up on a few things and then get ready to go.

I think the next train for Ametiton leaves sometime tomorrow, so I just need to be ready before then.

Well that was an unnerving trip... M'just glad it's finally over. ~~Can't say I have a particular love for water right now.~~

But this is the continent of D'Amantru, huh? Doesn't seem too bad, at least it's quiet-ish here in... Juv? Yeah, I think that's the city. If not, then it's the port city. ...So yes, getting away from the docks now.

Time to see if my money's any good here and to see if I can find someplace to stay.
