RSSHub Usage Guide

This tool quickly turns route paths from RSSHub docs into valid feed URLs. Start with a common platform route, verify it works, then move to your target route.

  1. Pick an instance URL first (default https://rsshub.app) and make sure it's reachable.
  2. Search and pick a route template, then fill required parameters first.
  3. Click "Open" to verify results before adding the link to your reader.

GitHub

Validate with a GitHub route first, then expand to Releases, Issues, or user activity feeds.

Bilibili

For creator feeds, verify UID first, then add optional filters only when needed.

YouTube

Start from channel-level routes, then fine-tune parameters to match update frequency.

FAQ

Why does generated URL look valid but "Open" still fails?

URL generation only validates format. Fetching can still fail because target site is unavailable, instance network is unstable, anti-crawler rules are triggered, or parameters are incorrect.

Where can I find route parameters?

Extract them from the target page URL whenever possible. Avoid display names. For example, GitHub owner/repo, Bilibili uid, and YouTube channelId are usually in the URL path.

Where does the route data come from?

Route data is based on snapshots of RSSHub official docs and sorted by popularity. Since both target sites and RSSHub may change, some routes can be adjusted over time.

Should I use official instance or this site's instance?

There is no universal best choice. Start with default instance, then switch if you see slow response, timeout, or errors. The most stable one for your routes is your best option.

Does this site host my feed content?

No. This site only helps compose URLs. Actual fetching and content delivery are handled by your selected RSSHub instance and the target site.

When should I use Advanced mode?

Use Advanced mode when you already know the full route path from official docs, or when your target route is not listed yet in quick search.
