Many of our newspaper databases are library versions that are designed more for research than casual reading, so they usually look and behave pretty differently from the individual subscriber versions. However, you can still use them to access full-text news articles!

Use our Find News Content at UMD guide for help locating major United States newspapers. You can access major U.S. newspapers like the Baltimore Sun, Washington Post, New York Times, and Wall Street Journal in different formats, locations, and date ranges.

Our Nexis Uni and Factiva databases are also great sources for a number of other U.S. and international papers.

Finally, you can locate newspapers by title in our Journal Search. However, this doesn't include results from Nexis Uni or Factiva, so you'll want to check those databases separately.
