HThe Libraries can usually purchase print books needed for course reserves if they are not already owned by one of the UMCP libraries or Shady Grove; we will also attempt to replace copies that have been lost.
When submitting the Book request form in ELMS, select the "Please consider this item for purchase" option under "How will this item be supplied?" This will alert Reserves staff to proceed with ordering the item.
Because purchased items will require extra processing time to allow for ordering and delivery, it is best that these requests are made as soon as possible.
