So we have implemented some NPCs in our game. We wanted to keep them minimalist and simple. As both of us love the art style in Monument Valley we wanted to pay some kind of tribute to them. So we designed these guys! We hope you like them!

One of the main pieces of feedback we took from DubLudo last week was the relationship between the Umbrella and the camera. Most players found it hard to figure out where they in the game and felt that relationship between the camera and the umbrella was not cohesive. We have been working on a new art style. Based on some of the feedback that the previous style did not properly reflect the fun nature of our game. So we have given it a toon shader making it look more “cartoony”. Let us know what you think!
