A: Branch ATMs, which only account for 12% of LINK withdrawals nowadays, and pay-to-use which are both seeing percentage falls of approaching 20%. The latest figures from LINK Scheme Ltd. Compared to the equivalent days in 2025, last week’s daily values varied from -1% to -9%, volumes -4% to -11%. Compared to last year, last week’s total values were down by 5% while total transactions were down by 9%. Compared to 2025, year to date values are -4.8%, volumes -9.8%. The average withdrawal value last week was £96.18 up from £92.10 in 2025.
