Makhachev vs Garry prediction
Official UFC 330 main event — welterweight title, Philadelphia. Odds via UFC.com: Makhachev -360, Garry +280.
Islam Makhachev (c) — first welterweight defense
Makhachev won the 170 lb belt with a 50-45, 50-45, 50-45 shutout of Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 322 in November 2025 — 19+ minutes of control time in his welterweight debut. He ties Anderson Silva's UFC record with 16 straight wins and arrives in Philadelphia as a -360 favorite on UFC.com.
Ian Machado Garry — the length and volume test
Garry (17-1) is 6'1" with a 74-inch reach and clean boxing at range. He rebounded from his first loss (Shavkat Rakhmonov) with wins over Carlos Prates and former champ Belal Muhammad to lock up the #2 spot and this title shot. At +280, the market gives him roughly a 26% implied win probability — respect for the striker, but not enough to make him the pick against this version of Makhachev.
Striking vs wrestling — how it breaks
Garry's path is circling at distance, jabbing the body and head, and making Makhachev pay on the way in. The problem: Makhachev doesn't need to win minutes on the feet. The same chain-wrestling that drowned Della Maddalena — level changes off the jab, hip pressure on the fence, back takes — is the nightmare for a tall boxer who hasn't faced elite Dagestani grappling at 170. Garry's takedown defense held against Belal; it hasn't been tested against someone who chains attempts for 25 minutes.

UFC 330 co-main & undercard picks
Official card beyond the main event. Odds from UFC.com where posted.
Dern's first strawweight title defense. Robertson holds the UFC women's record for submission wins.
Angle: Dern -205 on UFC.com. Grappling chess — Robertson's sub volume vs Dern's elite BJJ and improving hands.
Barboza back in Philadelphia where Gaethje KO'd him in 2019. Ribovics at 7.27 sig. strikes/min.
Angle: Striker duel — lean Ribovics on volume if lines open close; Barboza still carries one-shot KO equity.
Blanchfield pushes toward title contention; Jasudavicius on a three-fight win streak at 125.
Angle: Odds not posted yet. Blanchfield's pace and wrestling likely make her the side to watch when lines drop.
Mackenzie Dern vs Gillian Robertson — co-main breakdown
Dern (16-5) won the strawweight belt in October 2025 and makes her first defense against the most prolific submission artist in UFC women's history. Robertson (17-8) holds the promotion record for submission wins among female fighters and is dangerous in scrambles off her own takedowns.
Dern is -205 on UFC.com — the market trusts her BJJ and improving striking to control exchanges on the feet before the fight hits the mat. Robertson's path is chain wrestling into subs; if Dern's guard is as sharp as advertised, Robertson walks into the one place Dern wants the fight. Lean Dern ML at -205; live-bet Robertson +170 if Dern looks hesitant to engage early.
Edson Barboza vs Esteban Ribovics — full breakdown
Barboza's Philadelphia history cuts both ways: Gaethje stopped him here in 2019, but the crowd will roar for a Barboza wheel kick. At 40 he's lost three straight (Turner KO, Klose UD, Murphy UD). Ribovics, 30, brings 7.27 significant strikes per minute — among the highest output at 155 — but was submitted by Gamrot at UFC 327 in April 2026.
This stays standing almost by default. Ribovics' volume and youth favor him over five minutes; Barboza's one-shot KO power keeps him live in every round. Wait for official odds before betting — if Ribovics opens -150 or shorter, the price may be fair; Barboza +200 or longer is the value side for a single-round lottery ticket.
Erin Blanchfield vs Jasmine Jasudavicius — full breakdown
Blanchfield (14-2, #4) is a high-pace wrestler-boxer pushing back toward title contention after losses to Manon Fiorot and Jessica Andrade. Jasudavicius (15-4, #7) has won three straight, including a decision over Ariane da Silva in April 2026.
Blanchfield's cardio and chain wrestling should control where the fight happens. Jasudavicius is tough and improving but gives up size and grappling depth. When odds post, expect Blanchfield as a moderate favorite — lean her ML unless the line balloons past -250.
