A walk back (April version)

I had an idea flash through my head this morning while running.  Once a month, why not post older photos from the garden from that given month.  It's gone through so many changes, why not?! The oldest photo I can find of the back, April 2012.  Little Vincent lounging on the couch 💕. We had grass put in, and played some badminton from time to time.  The green house on the right was the chicken coop for 14 years. When we first moved in the entire back was dirt & weeds.  One of these months the digging of the pool will turn up. Olivia collecting eggs on the front porch, Easter morning, 2013. Rainy day

 We finally got a little rain, and as much as I want sunshine every day - we needed it!  I decided to make a trip out to Flowerland & Berkeley Hort.  I typically show photos of Flowerland, but thought I'd switch it up and show my other usual stop.  Berkeley Hort is actually a much larger nursery, but Flowerland looks a little snazzier in photos.  Walking through their display garden near the front, everything looked so nice.  I loved the soft grass bobbing along this pathway, despite my grass phobia.  I always worry it will spread like crazy or become a massive clump I have to divide.   I'm sure the grey skies didn't hurt, but this Yucca gloriosa v. recurvifolia 'Bright Star' was LIVING up to it's name.  Let's get shopping!  Front perennials, very well stocked.  I usually hold off in this area, and opt for the 4" (more affordable) size.
