just some tv shows I am watching... and their effect on my mental state.

1. Castle continues to be my happy place. Although I am seriously thinking something is going to happen before the whole happily ever after can take place. I don't know what, but something.... and its most likely going to be angsty.

2. The good wife. I have decided the only way I could ever be happy with what happened last week is if they add a new lawyer to the cast and he is played by gorge clooney. It would still hurt, but that might help ease my pain *L*

3. Shield. I am really starting to like it more and more. But it seems like as soon as I start to look forward to watching it, it disappears for weeks at a time. Course this can be said for most show I watch.

4. Looking forward warehouse 13 coming back... sad to see it end though :(

Castle Back!

so I jokingly told my kid last night as I sent her to bed. "I'll be in the living room watching castle... so if you here crying don't worry, its just me." I said this as a joke, because I even though I knew the basic premise of the episode... its castle, not game of thrones. It's not like they are actually going to kill off anyone right? Turns out knowing this didn't matter much as I sat in my darkened living room with tears in my eyes . *L*

For the third day I am sharing my favorite fudge recipe (some of you have seen this before, but I am posting again) My mom used to make this at Christmas time for me and my brother when we were kids and now I make it for my kids... except I use the microwave version because it is sooo much easier. *G* This is seriously the easiest recipe for fudge, but for some reason I only make it during the holidays... somehow I think it just tastes better (or maybe its just more nostalgic) that way.

Here is the recipe if anyone wants it...

MICROWAVE FANTASY FUDGE

3/4 c. butter
3 c. sugar
1 (5 fluid oz.) evaporated milk
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
1 tsp. vanilla
crushed candy cane (optional, but highly recommended ;)

Microwave butter in 4 quart bowl on high 1 minute or until melted. Add sugar and milk. Mix well.
Microwave on high 10 minutes, stirring after each 2 minutes.
Stir in chocolate pieces until melted. Add marshmallow creme, vanilla and crushed candy cane. Mix well. Pour into buttered 9x13 inch pan. Cool at room temperature. Cut into squares. Makes 3 pounds.

My youngest, Sam, told me today that she had figured out that in order to make a REAL Snowman, that she would have to be naughty for a few years in a row. That way she would have enough coal (brought by santa) to decorate it. *L*

It seems every Halloween I turn into macgyver *L*

Ten minutes before heading out to trick or treat on Halloween my child (who was dressed as the once-ler from the lorax ) frantically tells me... "My costume isn't ready... I need an ax".

Me: OK. Get me cardboard, tinfoil and duct tape... Hurry!
