Count SQL users command

>Product :4D – 4D Server

Would be nice to programatically be able to call:

Count SQL users

in addition to

Count users

to get the total number of concurrent users on the system.

Useful for load analysis and testing.

Trying to diagnose a connection rejection problem by using the trace odbc call functionality in windows.

What they kb article doesn’t mention is that you have to restart the IIS Admin service to get it to start writing to the log file. Or restart the box. Also, make sure you have permissions to write to the target directory, and that the appropriate user is targeted that is connecting via ODBC.

Another pet peeve. When developing in 4D I can’t see past 254 characters in the debugger window.

So I have to either Alert($some_really_long_string) or write the data to file. Annoying.

Maybe I should start a twitter account for these minute frustrations.
