    I successfully defended my PhD dissertation titled ‘A Paradigm Shift in Nonvisual Programming’ on June 5. Grateful for boundless support from my advisor @jcmankoff , my committee members @jonfroehlich @shaunkane and @amyjko , my family, and so many friends and colleagues.

    I feel extremely honoured to have received the Google Lime Scholarship. Grateful to my Family, friends, advisers, and affiliations that always supported me and gave me the opportunities to be worthy of this.

    Through an autoethnography of three graduate students with disabilities, @dj_hci , @athersharif and I explore tensions and complexities of cases where the usual accommodations did not work in grad school, and the use of alternative ad hoc coping strategies. #phdchat
