Every single school day, from the start of Kindergarten in September to the last day today, I drew a monster for my little guy's lunchbox. He saved all of them.
My 6 year old came into my office today on the verge of tears. After 10 min of hugs and inquiry, he finally confided in me: he and his brother only had one more level of Lego Star Wars 3 left. He was sad because if they beat it, the game would be over.
Felt that one in my soul.
My Wife: Let's snuggle up and watch a Christmas movie with the kids tonight!
Me: *Queues up Die Hard
My Wife: I said a CHRISTMAS movie.
Me: … *hits play*
Back in 2004, when Spider-man 2 came out, I drew a poster of Ethan and Lucas as Spidey/Doc Ock.
17 years later, we are again getting that same Spidey/Doc Ock face-off in theaters, so I thought it would be fun to revisit that old artwork for this month's Patreon wallpaper.
TLoU2 had "mount horse" on the triangle button. In Ghost of Tsushima, triangle is "heavy attack". Suffice to say, my horse and I are... not having a great relationship.
So now that the embargo on Endgame spoilers is lifted, can we talk about the second saddest scene in the film? That five years from now Fortnite is still a thing? :/
Got a bunch of ooold random CAD merch in my garage. If I signed it and put it up for the cost of shipping, would anyone want it? Prob just throw it away otherwise.
Almost every night-
My oldest: Dad, what's for dinner?
Me: Food.
Him: But what's it CALLED?
Me: Dinner.
Him: But what are you MAKING for dinner?
(repeat for 3-4 increasingly frustrated loops)
If he thinks I am ever going to grow tired of this schtick, he is in for a surprise.
