00:00 - 😮 Dylan Carter set the Race Club record for a 25 yard underwater dolphin kick in 9.18 seconds! That's moving!!! His kick rate was 143 kicks per minute and has the perfect amount of undulation. Not too much knee bend and just the right amount of movement of the upper body.
00:00 - A great way to get started with the “Power breaststroke” technique is to do flutter kicking with breaststroke arms/upper body. This allows you to focus on pulling wide, elevating the head, & snapping it down hard. Once you feel the spurts in speed after the head slam, try to
00:00 - Have you ever giving this start drill a shot? The goal is to hit the peak energy of the head at the same time your back leg hits it’s peak! Think Caeleb Dressel and Brad Tandy!
00:00 - In our newest video release we posed the question: is it faster to glide off the walls or kick immediately? Luckily, we had one of the best underwater kickers in the world, Maggie Mac Neil, to help us explore the topic.

00:00 - Mikita Tsmyh of Belarus has one of the highest stroke rates in backstroke in the world! We will be going over his velocity meter and smart paddle tests next week in our subscription... sign up on our website to learn more.
00:00 - It can’t be stressed enough…the Tandy start is the gold standard for coupling energy in a dive. While it requires some flexibility, it helps a swimmer produce great velocity off the start. Notice how the head drives down with the arms and the hips are slightly flexed, which
00:00 - In the 50 freestyle all elite swimmers use a stroke rate between 115 and 140 strokes per minute. For most swimmers, they aren’t able to sustain this stroke rate without compromising their technique. Dolphin kick freestyle is a great way to learn how to swim with a high stroke
00:00 - We lost a legend of the sport today. Jon Urbanchek motivated the best out of everyone. His love for swimming was unparalleled. He had the best sense of humor and made everyone around him smile. We’ll miss you. RIP
00:00 - Backstroke Pull 🤝 Backstroke Rotation Do you use any other drills to work rotation and/or pull-path in backstroke?
