Global warming means more icebergs are being produced & sea levels are rising. Olafur Eliasson & Minik Rosing have installed #IceWatchLondon โ€” 24 blocks of ice, melting outside Tate Modern. The duo hope more people will face the reality of climate change: bit.ly/2LbImX8

We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.

On 14 June 2017, artist Khadija Saye was killed in the fire at Grenfell Tower, aged 24. Saye's work in Tate's collection calls into question the rituals or objects that we turn to for solace in lifeโ€™s most challenging moments. ๐Ÿ–ค She is greatly missed. bit.ly/3gmtyX9

We love French painter and illustrator Norbert Goeneutteโ€™s (1854-1894) snowy scene of the boulevard de Clichy in Paris. Painted at just 22, this was one of many paintings and etchings he made of the buildings and people on its busy streets. ๐ŸŒจ๏ธ bit.ly/3Wg3sHQ

J.M.W. Turner painted the sea and the sky more than anything else in his lifetime. He was always looking up, so much so that in his paintings it sometimes seems that our planet is but a platform from which to see the sky. ๐Ÿ’™ J.M.W. Turner, Sea and Sky, English Coast 1832 โ˜๏ธ

We're immensely saddened to hear that Dame #PaulaRego has died. Her magical, powerful, visceral paintings told stories that changed the way we see the world. This painting, featuring her son & husband, she proposed as 'a dance of life'โ โ€”of which Rego's was extraordinary. ๐Ÿ’™
