Please make it stop; in-game interviews in all sports have become insufferable, and are unnecessary.

- The problem with @BuschBeer bailing on Carson King is that it suggests that people can't grow and learn from their mistakes, and that forgiveness is forever beyond his reach. Not excusing what he apparently said at the age of 16, but I'm willing to believe that he has changed.
- Instead of ripping the Iowa coaches for waiting 10 games to start and to feature Tyler Goodson at running back, why not be happy that they finally did start him, and that it was a key to beating Minnesota. Life is too short to always be bitching, moaning and complaining.
- The decision by Kirk Ferentz to honor Michael Lois’ scholarship despite an injury that will likely keep Lois from ever playing FB again is an example of the Iowa culture dating back to Hayden Fry, who did the same thing for my older brother 41 years ago. Class and compassion.
- A caller just suggested that Iowa should invite Iowa State fan Carson king to a game this season to lead the Wave as a way to help ease tension between Hawkeye and cyclone fans. I like that idea.
- Iowa doesn't win today without Payton Sandfort's 10 points off the bench. He was so clutch, and just a freshman.
- “Oh my God, these Iowa fans are incredible. They eat, drink and tip like there is no tomorrow.” A quote from the bartender.
- Micah Hyde was a 2-star dual-threat QB coming out of high school. Then he started playing for Phil Parker at Iowa, and now look at him.
- The NCAA should consider adding a continuous clock like what is used in high school when a football team trails by 35 points in the second half and call it the Nebraska rule.
- Notice some clapping from the Iowa bench, but even with his team trailing and struggling to make shots, Fred Hoiberg is not whining or complaining about the clapping being a distraction for his players.
- I’ve been covering Iowa athletics for nearly 30 years and have witnessed greatness many times before, but what Megan Gustafson has accomplished over the last two seasons is the greatest individual performance I’ve seen. Absolutely incredible.
- TJ Hockenson, Spencer Lee and Megan Gustafson is a lot of individual star power and class for one year of Hawkeye athletics.
- Two of Iowa’s most impactful players today were receiver Nick Easley and DB Jake Gervase, both of whom were walk-ons. That’s the essence of Iowa football under Kirk Ferentz.
- Devonte Young said his parents decided they will attend Iowa’s bowl game instead of senior Day and he was honored to have Kirk and Mary Ferentz fill in for them. Cool moment.
