    Since 14 April, our Township branch in Mogok has been helping to care for 54 families displaced from 2 villages in #Mandalay who have been staying at Phontaw Oo Pagoda. #RedCross volunteers are providing health care, environmental spraying and every day necessities

    Over the past week our volunteers in #Mandalay worked with @WFP to provide much needed food aid to 5,950 people. They distributed 50 kg of rice to 1,536 low income families from Maha Aung Myay Township and Aung ‌ Myay Thar San Township along the Irrawaddy River

    This week our volunteers in #Mon State have filled 276 oxygen cyclinders and are helping to provide 24-hour oxygen supplies to #COVID19 patients needing emergency care. A private donor also provided us with 35 oxygen cylinders that we rent out to people with urgent needs

    Curbing the #COVID19 pandemic in #Myanmar is our top priority. In #Tanintharyi, our volunteers are helping with the burial of the deceased and are transferring infected patients to 4 treatment centers where they monitor patient’s oxygen levels, temperature and blood pressure

    Today #RedCross volunteers have been helping to clear debris from a house that was damaged when a neighbouring wall collapsed due to heavy rains in Kyauk Phyu ward, #Mogok Township, #Mandalay. Tragically two women and a child were killed in the accident

    Today we are responding to humanitarian needs in #Demoso Township #Kayah State, distributing shelter materials, family kits, personal hygiene items, blankets mosquito nets + other items. 13 Red Cross volunteers are also running a #firstaid camp at Demoso Church.

    Since Sept 2 we've been able to operate a mobile health clinic serving 5 locations in #Mindat Township, #Chin State. Our volunteer medics are running 2 camps, 6 days a week. So far they have treated 392 people who have not had regular access to health services since May 4

    Our firstaiders don't just treat injuries. When a woman in labour was in difficulty, volunteers from our Thanbyuzayat branch in #Mon State, helped deliver her baby in one of our ambulances. They arrived safely at the hospital where mother & baby are in good health! #Myanmar
