- My expenses for 6k revenue from SaaS this month: $120 - webserver $25 - server $600 - runpod $50 - falAi $50 - electricity for home GPU servers $20 - mailjet $10 - togetherai (removed mid month, now groq so free) $10 - bunnynet (cut mid month) $25 - cloudflare $30 - accountant
- Expenses for 7k revenue from SaaS this month: $120 - webserver $45 - other servers $800 - runpod $50 - falAI $50 - electricity for home GPU servers $30 - mailjet $30 - cloudflare $30 - accountant $25 - 3 new domains

- Replying to @adamdotdevOMG so many requests in a single day, how could I ever manage. Surely the only option is to give vercel 10k per month instead of hosting it as one of many sites on 100 bucks machine

- Replying to @adamdotdevlike 1/3rd of those requests are for image resizing, one of the more computationally difficult things. "leave the scalable consumer app conversations to those that have stepped into the arena 🤗" just seemed like you saying no one who has made a successful site ever self-hosts

- Replying to @adamdotdevNot all of the "$5 vps" guys prolly know the infra complexity, true. But I mean they're saying it in response to someone racking up 100k in vercel bills. you could spend 5 bucks + 1/2 day for a VPS, traffic spike, lags, notice it and upgrade to 100 bucks server OR
- Replying to @FuelerHQI'd remove 000Webhost from that list, just google "000WebHost password leak". There's way too many options to even consider using this
- Replying to @mesmerlord and @adamdotdevspent 0 time, deploy, traffic spike, 10k bill, notice it and scramble to optimize the code so 10k bill turns to just 20k bill instead of 100k bill
- Replying to @gfodorBro Sora changed the movie industry bro, its too dangerous to release bro... Literally only thing that changed is I hopefully don't have the "copilot pause" when asking chatgpt to debug my code
