- Fake missile attack warning? Human error? Nonsense. It's incompetent design. One wrong click terrorizes the entire state? Why is it possible? I have a book they need to read.

- Replying to @michael_nielsenMichael asked what advances have come from HCI. I say it is HCI itself. Every major computer & software company now has an HCI group (sometimes called UX). HCI is ubiquitous: it has improved thousands of systems. You can't see it because it is everywhere-which makes it invisible.
