We unveiled our new #juniordoctors mess at Hull Royal Infirmary today, updated to provide comfortable modern surroundings for doctors in training to rest and relax. As well as seating, dining and kitchen areas, there are also 4 sleeping pods for those on-call/on shifts @PurvaDr

Huge thanks to Jackson’s Bakery for donating 800 loaves of bread for our staff today. It doesn’t stop there, with 3 more deliveries scheduled in next week. That’s a whopping 3200 loaves of bread donated to benefit our hardworking staff! Such an amazing thing to do! @JacksonsBread
Our hospital registrar, Dr Mohammad Waqas Ilyas, has been fighting his own personal battle with #coronavirus in recent weeks, so imagine how pleased we were to receive these images of him leaving Ward 1 at #Hull Royal Infirmary to continue his recovery at home #ThankYouNHS
We have 300 NHS staff in the @prideinhull parade tomorrow from noon, then we’re at the #NHS70 tent in Queen’s Gardens afterwards. We have flags, stickers, glitter, lollies, make-your-own bunting, and lots of info about our services. Who’s coming?
We've installed a rainbow bench outside Ward 130 at HRI to remember children’s nurse Claire Goacher. Claire, who spent all her career caring for babies & children died 1yr ago this week from cancer aged 40. Colleagues say the rainbow reflects her bright personality @wishhcharity
3 years ago, our staff treated the UK's first patient to be confirmed with #Covid19. A lot's happened since then, but the bravery & commitment of our staff to delivering the best patient care they can hasn't changed. Thanks to all our staff for everything you do #remarkablepeople
We found him! The hunt for the HRI porter named Paul whom followers of facebook group, One Hull of a City, were searching for is over! Paul Gale showed kindness to an anxious patient and it seems the whole city now wants to thank him for it, but he says he's just doing his job 😊
