- For many people, "too much phone/screen" time is not primarily (or just) a problem of the phone. It is what happens when one does not have interests that are more compelling than the phone. "Just quit using your phone so much" is hard if you don't have anything else compelling
- This has been resolved. Yesterday I got the chemo port in my chest removed. Onward to the rest of life! The prognosis is good; I expect to be cured. This is jarring, I know. There is no elegant way to announce a cancer diagnosis, but there is a New York way: getting straight to it!
