- Tate Myre rushed an active shooter yesterday. He received multiple gunshots and gave his life in defense of his friends and classmates. He's a true hero. Offer a prayer for the repose of his soul and for his family and friends mourning his death.
- The angry reactions to Vance from '60s Progressive Catholics & globalists is rooted in their sense that a younger generation of traditional-minded, articulate & informed Catholics is on the horizon & is set to eclipse them in prominence. It's petty generational resentment & envy.
- Will repeat: The cassock is far superior to the nine-to-five business suit-inspired clerics and should once more be the norm. The cassock comes from a distinct Catholic culture, while the black jacket comes from a worldly corporate culture.
- The Catholic Vance will give liberal bishops a challenge they aren’t used to: a young, appealing, intelligent, articulate & muscular counterpoint to the effeminate (but fading) ecclesial zeitgeist of the '60s. He likely has a far better grasp of *real* Catholic social teaching.
