- We are hosting the MIT Programming Languages Review on April 25th in person here at MIT! The PLR is a student-run workshop that aims to highlight the best papers from the past year that we believe will have a significant impact on shaping the future direction of PL research.
- I voted yes to the union. In the summer of 2020, many international students were forced to cancel flights and dorms without any compensation, because some departments at MIT decided not to support their immigration by going fully online.

- I received a science master's degree from MIT today. Although it has no meaning other than 2 years have passed since I started a Ph.D., I'm still proud of myself for moving to a new country and surviving during the pandemic.
- In-person internships are like extended conferences, where I get to meet many phd students from other fields and universities and talk about random research stuff. Apple put a bunch of us in the same apartment complex and that's helping too
- Our paper got conditionally accepted to SIGGRAPH journal track! 😄😄😄
- Co-authored paper got conditionally accepted to the SIGGRAPH Asia journal track!
- I passed the Research qualification exam yesterday! I'm a PhD candidate now, I guess
- I'm giving a talk at GPU mode tomorrow. Feel free to join the livestream:

- MIT says we should vote "Yes" to MIT's offer because they increased our salary by 12.2% over three years, but my rent increased by 32% over three years, and I'm sure it'll increase more from this September...
- A project I've been working on for more than two years got accepted to ASPLOS! Relieved 😌
