- Another Giant of Mass Spectrometry we will miss, Marvin L. Vestal (1934-2022). Marvin received the ASMS Distinguished Contribution Award in 2010 and was a charter member of ASMS (1969). Our thoughts are with his beloved wife Chris, his family, and his MANY friends & colleagues.
