TLDR: AnyKey's team consists of women, non-binary, & trans folks who designed & run our system to be as inclusive and comfy as possible while also supporting competitive integrity in the tourney spaces that are intended for players of marginalized genders.

Join this protest to End Hate Raids by taking #ADayOffTwitch on 9/1. No streaming, no watching. These kinds of protests make an impact when folks are in it together. RT and ask your fav streamers (especially the non-marginalized ones) to participate by not streaming on 9/1.

PSA: Anger is not required to be a top competitor in gaming or really any other competition. In fact, there is tons of research about high performance showing that being able to work through frustration and calm your mind helps when performing high pressure, complex tasks.

Today is #ADayOffTwitch. Remember what today is about: The community needs @Twitch to prioritize & provide *meaningful* support for marginalized creators who are the targets of persistent toxic harassment on the platform. The problem was already bad but gets exponentially worse.

Read this thread for a reminder of how toxic voice chat can be. And note: * “just mute them” fails when dealing with a trend you see almost every match. * Ignoring hate speech is much easier when it doesn’t apply to who you are. Imagine if it did.
