    We has some very special visitors in Angus yesterday when HRH The Earl and Countess of Wessex and Forfar came to Ogilvy Distillery, the Early Learning Centre and the Lowson Memorial church for a Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Her Majesty the Queen.

    Update 06:45 - Summary Angus is in the middle of a very serious emergency. Flooding is unprecedented. Levels are over half a metre over the last highest EVER. Most roads are affected. A90 is closed in both directions and is not passable for any have a go heroes. DO NOT TRAVEL!

    It never ends... Last night, significant parts of the Montrose promenade collapsed, weakened by storm & rain. It's difficult to prevent access to the highly unstable edge but please stay away as contractors are on site and it's just not safe. Have a look at these photos instead!
