    SIZE MATTERS: France’s Kante and Uruguay’s Torreira both 168cm=5’5 feet tall. Griezmann towers over them at 5’7. BUT time and again we tell US kids they are “too small” to be selected for premier teams. We want “athletes” we tell ourselves. NONSENSE. Nurture talent not size.

    Tuchel lost 11 months ago and labled a failure. He wins with 2 shots on goal and is now a mastermind. Pep wins 3/4 EPL titles as a mastermind and now labled a failure. None of these labels is true. Don’t buy the pundits’ nonsense. What is true is the pundits are in a cozy studio.

    DEAR PARENTS: Do not equate a club having the best players with the club having the best development program. Many humble clubs carry players from baseline to better in more meaningful ways than clubs with power logos. #TOVO

    SPORT PARENTS: Ask your own parents if the 4th game of your season when you were 11 determined your fate as a human being. If it did not carry such importance, then don’t be the parent that loses your head over the 4th game of your child’s U12 game this weekend. Please. 🙏 #TOVO
