    Unpopular opinion: I'm a therapist in the therapy room, not outside. Therapy is not a way of life. The profession can't shame me into being gentle, empathetic, and (what they perceive as) non-judgmental outside of my work. I reserve the right to be my own human being.

    Oxford Uni guy wants translation job done by Global South translators for less that a fourth of the minimum fee he would have to pay in the UK. Absolutely shameless. Pay people for their work. We don't have to accept break crumbs because we are not Europeans.

    This book is melting my brain in the best way possible. The first and only time I have read about genuine unapologetic decolonial praxis in mental health. I'm only finishing the first chapter but it's making me cry tears of joy and relief.

    The entirety of the Peruvian nation is a systematic campaign to dehumanize black and indigenous people. It has been going on for centuries. Anti-blackness and racism are at the very foundation of what we know as Latin America. But blancos and mestizos don't want to know.
