Whilst I kind of understand* why a school leader would pay for an "ofsted preparation consultant," they definitely 100% shouldn't. These people are ignorant at best, charlatans at worst.**

Ofsted’s comment on this story: “This story is untrue. Ofsted does not consider admissions during school inspections and we have no plans to do so in future. The focus of our inspections is the quality of education provided for pupils.”

Today, we’re announcing further measures to ensure a steady and assured start to inspections in November, having heard suggestions from professionals about what would help. More QA, more feedback to Ofsted, centralised deferrals and no inspections in the last week before Xmas.
