    While this campfire may look like it’s out it still has enough heat to instantly boil water. Crews spent most of today putting out campfires that were abandoned by campers. Please put your campfires out cold before you leave them. #DrownStirFeel

    Good news coming from the fire lines of the #WestMonumentCreekFire on the @af_academy this morning. This video was shot by our hand crew working on the fire and shows the current weather conditions over the fire area. A very dramatic change from how they started the day.

    #RampartFire_CO reaches 50% containment. Crews worked purposefully, securing the fire line, and mopping up 100 ft interior from the line. Light smoke is still visible off the 300Rd due to heavy fuels burning well interior from the perimeter. psiccfireinfo.blogspot.com/2023/04/fire-a…

    High water levels and no river crossing required the Tatanka Hotshots be transported across the South Platte River to the #PlatteRiverFire by the #WestMetroFire Swift Water Rescue Team today.

    Colorado's Multi-Mission Aircraft (MMA) has mapped the #OakRidgeFire_CO which has increased the size to 275 acres. This is a video taken this afternoon from the MMA and this shows the remoteness of the fire and the steep areas of terrain.

    #RampartFire_CO Crews have placed fire hose all the way around the fire. Crews will continue working and utilizing water to cool the edges of the fire in an effort to contain the Rampart Fire. Fire is still estimated to be 20 acres. More information: psiccfireinfo.blogspot.com/2023/04/fire-a…
