- A lot of the 80’s was really just the late 70’s that wouldn’t leave. Everything was so so, brown. If you were lucky, you got a burnt sienna. Dark red? Luxury.
- I was lucky enough to see Hamilton live. I went in cold. I wasn’t prepared. The power of “It’s Quiet Uptown” absolutely broke my heart. But seeing it up close like this... the anguish on @Lin_Manuel’s face and the tears in @Phillipasoo’s eyes... it breaks my entire soul. ❤️

- Nope. Instead, learn early in your career that your time is a finite resource. The money you earn, what you’re actually getting paid for, is for a piece of your life. Like “The Machine” in The Princess Bride, those moments are being sucked away (but for money). Value your time.Unpopular opinion: the best thing young people can do early in their careers is to work on the weekends.

- Replying to @amandawtwongI’m so sorry. I’ve had a few really bad therapists and the worst ones were openly dismissive of my work when they found I drew comics for kids. I was like, “look, I’ve got enough issues. I certainly don’t need to *pay someone* to make me feel like what I do isn’t important.” 😭
