When I got hired 6 yrs ago, one of the first people that called me was DW. That’s right, the NHL GM called to congratulate me, THE AHL BROADCASTER, and welcome me into the org. It epitomizes the type of guy he is. He knew everyone’s name and made you feel like an important piece.
