- High pressure will bring sunny and pleasant weather today across eastern NY and western New England. High temps will be near seasonal normal for late June with upper 60s to mid 70s over the hills and mountains and mid 70s to lower 80s in the valleys.
- Here is a map displaying how much rain fell across eastern New York and western New England throughout Monday and early Tuesday morning. Fortunately, clouds will gradually clear throughout today across the region, leading to plenty of sunshine tomorrow! 🌞

- Low pressure passing south of the region will bring mainly showers this morning south and east of the Capital District. Clouds will linger most of the day, but some sunshine will mix with clouds north & west of Albany in the late pm. Temps will run slightly below normal today.
- After today's washout, relief from the rain is on the way! Skies will clear throughout tomorrow, setting us up for a beautiful Wednesday. Make sure to get outside and take advantage of the midweek sunshine, as the next chance of rain arrives at the end of this week!
- The New Scotland, NY Transmitter has come back online, but the broadcast is reaching a very limited range. We don't know when the transmitter will reach its full broadcast range again, but are working to remedy the issue. Consider alternate broadcasts for your weather information
- A few t-storms near I-84 including the southeast Catskills, mid Hudson Valley, southern Taconics and Litchfield County in NW CT could become strong to severe with damaging winds the main threat. A Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) is in effect for this area.
- Low pressure system & a warm front brings a widespread rainfall and a few t-storms today into Tue morning across ern NY & wern New England.Rainfall amounts will range from 0.50-2.0" across the region. There is also a Marginal Risk for isolated flash flooding, except the SW Dacks.
- Scattered showers & thunderstorms are moving across the region this afternoon, primarily north of I-90. Severe thunderstorms are not expected, but isolated storms could still bring gusty winds. Secure loose outdoor furniture/plants, and when thunder roars, head indoors! ⛈️
