- The capacity to hold High Court jury trials has now returned to pre-COVID levels. With the use of remote jury centres based in cinema complexes (funded by the Scottish Government), court capacity has returned to 16 trial courts.

- The Court of Session has today issued its opinion in the petition of the Scottish Ministers for judicial review of the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill (Prohibition on Submission for Royal Assent) Order 2023.
- At the High Court in Edinburgh, Lord Arthurson imposed an extended sentence of 28 years on Andrew Miller after the offender pled guilty to the abduction and sexual assault of a child. The custodial part will be 20 years with an extension period of 8 years bit.ly/46Rqb1G
