Here is a little demo of my app Parrot. I created this app for my son who has speech difficulties. The goal was to help him with speaking more clearly and spelling. This was my first React project. I learned a ton including falling in love with it. #reactjs #100devs #elearning

Did a thing I would have never thought possible just 3 years ago working for barely over minimum wage. I bought my first house! My son and I were in a 1 bedroom all his life. Now we have our own home. Would not be here if it wasn’t for @leonnoel and #100devs

So I banned myself from video games for a full month so I’d focus more on working, coding, and just boosting my skills. However now that I’ve done so much I can game again but.. I don’t want to yet. What is wrong with me?! 😩

Hey #100devs I've been hard at work at a proof of concept page for my 100 hours project utilizing text-to-speech. My son has a speech delay so I made him an app he can input words to practice and repeat. Hope you enjoy it!

I was surprised by my coworkers with a new pair of headphones! I’ve been using some crappy earbuds off Amazon so this is quite the experience. Plus the color is amazing. 😻 Love my new job. ā¤ļø

I received my prize for winning a place in a hackathon with @liascodes (who is awesome and carried our team because it was my first hackathon). It's just a sweater but it also feels like validation that yes, I am a programmer. This is real and this is my life now. #100Devs

Trust the process. We hear that a lot at #100Devs. I may have grumbled under my breath, thrown my hands up in exasperation but one thing I haven't done is give up. And you know what? It's working. Things are starting to click.

For all my women in #100devs. I had an awesome coffee chat with a brilliant woman who hosts a hackathon. She kindly gave me some free tickets to hand out for the event. There is a limited number so only sign up if you can attend. Ill copy paste it below

I had no idea my last post would blow up like that and I really appreciate all the love. 🫶 If you want a more in depth about me and how I got here I believe I have a blog post in my linktree.

Alright I just have to ask. How are you guys getting the colors to match so well on the layouts? #100devs

#100devs if you are still looking to make your first large project open-source contribution look no further than @DistributeAid. My goal for Hacktoberfest is to do my first contribution starting here. :) (link to GitHub repo in comments)

I was already taking on a defeatist attitude before I joined in on office hours for #100devs with @leonnoel. I can do this even if the odds are stacked against me. Hoping to look back on this tweet at the very end and feel more confident and capable.
