- Our Principal, @AJacobsPE, opens tonight’s DUA Open Evening with our vision. We are delighted to welcome families of Years 5 and 6 students to visit our academy with a view to join us in the coming academic years.

- Our Year 7 students were delighted to receive their free #BuzzBooks this week from @Booktrust. They are delving into the fantastic selection from #authors including @MarcusRashford, @FleurHitchcock, @philearle, @conradwrites, @alastair_ch, @kate_gilby and loads more!
- Yesterday our fantastic staff team delivered 92 Christmas dinner packages to @DixonsUnity families. Seeing 92 grateful and happy families was the best way to spend the first day of the holiday! (1/2)

- This Friday we will be opening the doors to "Unity Community" at Dixons Unity Academy. The centre will provide a food bank, uniform exchange, lending library & community cafe. In partnership with @RethinkFoodUK, we will be providing fresh food, for a voluntary £1 donation.

- We are pleased to announce that the transfer to Dixons has been successfully completed today. We are still waiting to finalise details of PE kits and lockers before sending a letter to all parents about these arrangements and the transfer.
