This is the most personal piece I have ever written, about the important part TV has played in my entire life - but especially how vital it has been to me as a chronically ill person. Hopefully it resonates with some of you. Thanks to @LukeCustardtv for allowing me the platform
Sometimes TV can be life-changing or life-altering and provide comfort in the good and bad times. For a deeply personal piece, @DawnGlen2 talks about what TV matters to her. This is a must for TV fans and for anyone who doubts the power of television. thecustardtv.com/my-love-letter…

Matt Hancock still being in is proof of how utterly gullible and short-memoried the British public is. I despair. #ImaCeleb

Ooft that scene with Cathy and Julie either side of the wall. THROW the awards at Lesley Manville and Claire Rushbook. So moving. #Sherwood

"Blaming each other instead of blaming them." God #Sherwood has been powerful moment after powerful moment. So many layers of story from Scott's benefits to the miners, to the police, to Jenny's story... so much crammed into one gripping story. Round of applause.

Let's talk about why this is 100% cruel, unnecessary and dishonest behaviour from a showrunner. If you don't want a ship to happen, then do that, but do it clearly - make them refer to each other as siblings, give them outside relationships that work... 🧵
Mariska Hargitay on Benson and Stabler’s almost-kiss on #LawAndOrderSVU: “Chris [Meloni] and I thought it should go one way and the powers that be didn’t, so it got changed at the last minute, that near kiss. Obviously Dick [Wolf] gets final say. It’s his show and he didn’t want

Alpha quoting Ed is scary in whole new ways than actual Alpha ever was. Incredible performance. #TheWalkingDead

Carol is the only one visiting Daryl in his place through all these years. Everyone else carries on with their lives but Carol allows him the space to do what he needs to do but let's him know she wants him back. #TWD

Whoever's decision (hers or the networks) it was to not submit Melissa McBride for Emmy consideration for #TheWalkingDead it is simply a symptom of how unappreciated and badly treated she has always been. She has always been TWD's greatest actor and asset.

Same position. This was all very deliberate. And the kind of subtle, moving foreshadowing I love to see. #TWDCaryl

In light of David Zable's latest interview, let me say I do not believe this show has any future if Caryl stays platonic. This relationship cannot evolve without romance on the table. And the more isolated they are, the more unrealistic "platonic soulmates" becomes. #TWDCaryl

"We've had another bit of a tussle. I won, obviously." LINE OF THE YEAR. #HappyValley

Yes, lots of clues in Lines We Cross, Bonds and The Tower! I see you @angelakang and @kdeiboldt! 😁😁 #TWD #TheWalkingDead undeadwalking.com/2020/09/10/clu…

The amazing symbolism and depth @bravecarrot wrote into Squeeze is why, as hard as it was to watch for a Carol fan, it is an incredible episode. #TWD #TheWalkingDead

My key takeaways: It's about time! No one said "no we are siblings!" Or "no they are like family to me". Carol got flustered then contemplative. Daryl was annoyed that the thing they pretend not to notice was noticed. But most of all? Zabel did not watch the main show.
“Really? You’ve never…?” I’M YELLING BECAUSE *OF COURSE* SHE THOUGHT THEY WERE FUCKING #TWD #TWDspoilers
