    A VE Day Love Story. My Mum and Dad, Beth and Ken, got engaged in the summer of 1939. She was 19. He was 20. War was declared on 1st Sept. Dad had already volunteered for the RAF and was called up on 3rd Sept. Dad kept this picture of Mum with him throughout the war @kevinjhall
