This is absolutely terrible. Permission to be human : to any executive reading this, friendly reminder that video games are an entertainment/cultural industry, and your business as a corporation is to take care of your artists/entertainers and help them create value for you.

- This might be the funniest game design candy I've seen in a AAA video game in a long time. The display of ingenuity to commit to the bit making the item special by effortlessly breaking "proper UX" rules coupled with the earnest explanation to bring the player along is brilliant!shout out to whoever on the design team was like ok before you react let me finish
- Replying to @DBakabaDon't throw us into gold fever gambits, don't use us as strawmen for miscalculations/blind spots, don't make our work environments darwinist jungles. You say we make you proud when we make a good game. Make us proud when times are tough. We know you can, we seen it before.
- Replying to @DBakabaFor now, great teams are sunsetting before our eyes again, and it's a fucking gut stab. Lyon is safe, but please be tactful and discerning about all this, and respect affected folks' voice and leave it room to be heard, it's their story to tell, their feelings to express.
- It’s time to admit that Remote Work doesn’t work. WFH Friday is a 4 day work week. Full WFH is a 2 day work week. Every interaction has to be scheduled, which means a lot of information-sharing doesn’t happen. Remote is a great lifestyle, not a way to build a great company.
- My team and I have been living in sheer terror of a leak until announce. When rumors started circulating I had my first physical symptoms of stress in decades and legit had nightmares every night. This type of thing hurts, and Insomniacs deserve our decency care and support RN 💙
- Last thing I'll say: Games are made by PEOPLE. People that CARE about how their work, the fruit of their gut and sweat and sacrifices get in front of the eyes of those they are making it for: the players. We are NOT PR firms, we are NOT our companies. We CARE about our games.
- Replying to @DBakabaInside baseball, but if I read "immersive sim curse" from the community, especially from a fellow dev, I swear to God... Please, let's talk about the *real* challenges instead of rehashing irrational anxieties of the past.
- Replying to @DBakabaEven more inside baseball, but with a very, very wide range, as a wise and sorely missed man said: "Please Stop."
- Thank you so much for watching our announcement! "Let's do a single player immersive sim hybrid with all the shit we love!" "Ok, and let's make it a Blade game, in 3rd person, in our own crazy version of Paris!" And somehow this fever dream fucking happens?! This is surreal.

- I hope that the good reviews we are getting will encourage other AAA studios to take creative risks. Let's see this praise as a celebration not of Arkane but of the medium and the rich experiences that we can create with all the work and money. "The bullet is the same, but..."
- Yeah, I'm surprised by how quickly this is escalating. I'll try to organize my own hot take-ish thoughts in a thread, separating concept, execution, and dev. First: it's not a Pokemon-like game. Digimon is. And even if it was, so what? (cries in FPS, BRs, Souls, hero shooters...)Hahah. I have actually lost followers over Palworld discourse. People are losing their minds over this game and getting SO angry and I'm just... confused.
- For anyone discovering "DEATHLOOP" for the first time today, here is a🧵 of tips! Very light mechanical spoilers probably. First: just like your man Colt, it's normal to be confused in the beginning. Enjoy the journey of discovery, you'll be a master of the ♾ in no time! 1/13
