Pay attention to what your hitters are doing when nobody is telling them what to do. That's how you know who they really are ...

Some of yall are taking 2-0 pitches down the freaking middle & then striking out later in the same at bat wondering what's wrong with your swing. Your swing? C'mon son.

3-Day IMG Softball Camp in the books. With the launch of Softball for @IMGAcademy the sport will never be the same. This is exciting!

Travel ball is not handing colleges ready-made players anymore. You're gonna have to actually coach and teach or you will lose in an embarrassing fashion.

Watched some games in ATL yesterday. Takeaway: Everyone seems to want to answer to be swing-related, bcuz it's easier to find a solution. But the truth is its usually thought-related & it's harder to teach the mental game.

Don't look @ starters like, "I'm better so why am I sitting?" You should ask, "Why does coach TRUST the starters more than me?" Seek to become more trustworthy. It's not only about who's better. This is not a combine. Its a real game that your coach wants to actually win.

Even if your swing was perfect, 5 different coaches would have 5 different opinions about what's wrong with it. Just buy into something, trust it, and do you #doyouboo

I don't believe in post-game talks anymore. It's just therapy for the coaches most of the time. Win or lose, the players already know if they played well or not.

I'm beginning to realize that confidence is not a "feeling" but a decision. If we wait until we feel confident to be more consistent, we may never get there. Weaknesses of the past can be your super power in the present. Decide to be confident #cgmindset

The struggle is the entire point of eliteness. We are putting too much energy into trying to make it easier when it's the struggle that will make you great if you embrace it. If you have ever done something amazing then you know what I'm talking about.

WE NEED A STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE IN EVERY AREA OF THE GAME. UNIFORMS. COACHING. EFFORT. COMMUNICATION. ATTITUDE. PUNCTUALITY. TRAINING. ACCOUNTABILITY. TO NAME A FEW. I DONT KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THIS SPORT. BUT I AM NOT HAVING IT. IM JUST NOT.

It's pretty simple -you either want it or you don't.

I haven't seen you 3 months. You tag me in a post. College coach texts me, "Rob, tell me about this player" Me: "I have no idea who you're talking about." Stop playing games!
