We were tasked to create graphics that had to do with the Seven Deadly Sins or the Seven Heavenly Virtues. Well, sinning is easy, if you ask all of the priests I've talked with. So for the challenge, I decided to focus on the virtues. To increase the challenge, I chose a show that's full of more sinners than saints: Criminal Minds. Let's get started, shall we?

Since I have and will continue to post my entries here, I figure I ought to try to recruit a few of you to the madness. Join tv_universe! It's so much fun! We just started the 5th season. You can use any TV fandom in the challenges, which opens up so many rare fandoms (including shows that are off the air!). You can participate in any challenge you want, but there are two tracks per challenge: graphics and writing. That way you can choose which one you feel is your strong suit, or which one you have inspiration for at the time. And right now we have an awesome team challenge going on for the length of the season. Now the only question is: Bunny Ears or Dish?

In this challenge from tv_universe we were tasked to create two sets of postcards based on characters from a tv show. The show I chose was The Tudors, and correspondence between Anne and Henry. Excuse my blatant fanfiction (I adore Anne Boleyn, in both the show and in scholarly research).

(I want to explain a bit: I envisioned this as a tale told to the children in hushed whispers at, or near, their 12th birthday, right before they were eligible for reaping. Or, in a similar vein, what Katniss would eventually tell her children. In this way, I feel it still meets the criteria for the challenge)

It's the start of National Suicide Prevention Week. I'm seeing it all over the internet, which is an amazingly good sign. It means the resources are out there and accessible.

I'm feeling nostalgic. That's the closest word I can come up with to describe my mood, so I thought I'd talk about the moments that lead to the path I'm currently on.
