Tubbler für Mac

A great little app that alllows you to make a playlist of videos from various online sources, then play them in a 'mini-window that hovers above your other windows. Great for viewing a collection of videos while continuing to browse the web. Also plays full screen when required and uses very little resources.

The developer was very quick to reply to a bug that I spotted and emailed me as soon as the new version was released with the fix.

Perfect for my needs and a great lettle app with a n active & responsive developer, oh and its free!

Nice ability to quickly enter some YouTube videos to a playlist, without further distraction. The current version doesn't use flash player and has the ability of playrate control (so it probably uses HTML5?). This is of value with video lectures. I've suggested the developer to implement the Closed Caption feature of YouTube, because some video lectures and documentaries contain high quality non-automatically generated subtitles :) Another powerful addition would be quick play control with the cursors, to jump back 5 or 10 seconds: nice if you didn't hear a sentence correctly or need to rethink it. I'm looking forward to the update! :D

This app would be very useful to me and, quite frankly, almost perfect for what I was looking for if not for one "small" detail: it doesn't fetch 720p or 1080p. Only plays 360p or whatever.

This is pretty pointless, honestly. I have to agree with everyone that's said so previously. YouTube has a pop-out option to put a video into a free-floating window. The window is hardly an eyesore. Combine that window with Afloat and it'll simply float on top of all of your windows so you can work with your video playing anywhere on your screen.

This is a beautiful little bit of software. It is a 'niche' product allowing me to play favourite videclips from YouTube without downloading them, but it fills its niche beautifully simply doing what I want. I will be interested to see what comes next from CelMaro.
