Tommy Turner is a 40-ish year old man, polite and soft-spoken. He almost always wears a hat over his brown hair, which is kept just long enough to be unfashionable where he's from.
He's come to World's End with a big, bad gap in his memory-- a gap that is surrounded by two memories like bookends:
One is engaging in a bit of recreational burglary.
The other is standing over his ex-wife's bloody, blugeoned corpse in a burning building.
How much time passed between the two events, he's unsure. Whether he killed his ex, he's unsure. All he remembers was taking the boy who may-or-may-not-be his son and fleeing the building down a long hallway. The door at the end led him to the Loft, and World's End.
He's working as a music teacher now at the World's End school and living in the Whitetail Grove apartment building with Jake.
