Sorry guys. Looks like leeware's servers went down again on us. We've got another ticket in and hopefully this'll get taken care of faster than last time. We apologize for all this downtime.

FYI, the site/server is currently down. Kit and I are working on the issue, and are also working to give you all a proper update on the site's status.

EDIT: As of 10 PM EST, we are up and running again. We apologize for the delay but Kit had to contact our host, Leeware, to see what the issue was and wait for a reply.

We will be posting an update on the site's current status in the news journal, including our monetary situation and our projected plan for what we're doing to the site.

Another Layout Question

Sorry to be back asking for help so soon. The tutorials were really great, and I was able to get the laoyout I wanted, but the title/subject for my entries doesn't show up, even though it does on the LJ version. Is there a way I can fix this?

Hey. So my LJ layout is Expressive Blue Bloom, which I really like, and I'd like to be able to use it on Inksome, but I don't know how to do that. Is there anyone who can help me create that journal layout, or one like it, for my Inksome journal?

I had sent in a rename token request via Paypal that was actually sent back to me for non-compliance--read: no one accepted my money.

Two months later; I used to be beta test user #10 back when SI was around. This post might just end up being ignored or answered. I say it might be ignored since there was already one or two past beta testers who asked about getting their privileges back and were just ignored. If it's answered, greatly appreciate it since I've made a new account over at INKSOME now and yeah. Apparently my old one is gone. And the username in which I had, it gives me an error about layout definition being messed up?

A couple of things that stubbornly just Will Not Work for me:

- Comment notifications. I'm not getting a single one, even though they're set on (yes, I checked once again).

- Why, even though I'm logged in, do I have to prove I'm not a "spam robot" every damn time I leave a comment???

No huge peeves, no, but these are beginning to get on my nerves!

Mood Themes

I was trying to customize my mood theme, and am having a couple different problems. If I change an image, it keeps changing it back. Also it's not showing up in my journal at all. Are customized mood themes not working yet?

First: I am not getting email notifications of comments recently, although the feature is activated. They used to come perfectly OK to Gmail but not any more. Has anyone else noticed this?

Second: Any idea when Open ID is going to start working? Just being curious here...

Style Contest by Parker Torrence, several times. When I go to customize the journal, it shows that I'm using the Top Secret style in the upper-right-hand corner box, but when I look at the site, it's generator.

Just wanted to post letting everyone know that this issue had been resolved. Well... not resolved, per se, but at least answered to my satisfaction.

Journalfen got back with me on it and apparently (for them, at least) the issue is the Youtube coding. I'm assuming then that it's the same thing for you guys.

The new site scheme

I know you all worked really hard on the new site scheme, but is there a way to change our viewing options if we're not a fan of the blue? I'd like to just go back to the way it looked before now if possible.

Also, early contributor (one of the first to try the service and donate), but still have this as a URL: http://www.inksome.com/users/house_illrepute/ and when the page loads, the first thing I see is this error: This URL is not valid and cannot be loaded. Coincidentally, it's the same error I get with my Journalfen account.

Also (part 2), I want to donate, but the penultimate entry has me worried.

Well... it was the penultimate entry before I posted, that is. ;-P

Slow notifications

Email notifications have been coming out slowly as of late (some a few hours after being posted, some the next day). I know I'm not the only user having this problem. Not that it's a huge deal, but I wonder if it had been brought to your attention or if something could be done about it.

I noticed the user pics amount has gone up on one of the journals that I have (to 150), but remained the same (at 100) on another account. This isn't due to being a contributor (as neither of these accounts are).

Can anyone explain why that is?

Am I the only one having trouble accessing various layouts on Inksome? When I try to select a layout such as Style Contest, I get a mess made of my journal.

Also, will the Smooth Sailing and Flexible Squares layouts eventually be added to Inksome?

I was wondering if we are sticking with http://www.inksome.com/ or you will switch to use the beta version. The main site you have linked in the profile validated my account but beta will not.

If it is the main one you told me to let you know when it validated me so that you could upgrade my account appropriately. I was one of the ones that donated last year.
My account name is atropos4 and the email I used to donate was either atropos4@hotmail.com or bittersweetlace@hotmail.com It's been awhile so I can't remember which, sorry.

Hi there,

Am all signed up over at inksome and am using the account. Liking that it's not totally busy there at the moment. Am taking the time to sorta write my memoirs, lol.

Anyway, I have a few questions and they are inksome related.

1. ok I mentioned about not being able to validate an account using hotmail. I changed to yahoo and was able to validate. Is there a reason I'm not getting email notifications to my yahoo account when someone has left a comment??

2. Is the inbox feature at inksome only for people that have paid for an account??
