TreePad is a very intuitive and powerful personal database program, PIM and search engine, only 380 Kb in size.
It allows you to store all your notes, emails, texts, hyperlinks, etc. into a single file. With the look and feel of the familiar Windows explorer, editing, storing, browsing, searching and retrieving your data can not be easier! TreePad can be run directly from a floppy, if necessary, including data. To find any article you previously created or imported, you can browse the tree, in the same way as you browse directories/folders in the Windows explorer. Alternatively, you can use the very fast internal search engine to instantly find any item you need!

I'm still using Treepad lite v 4.3 from way back. Still superbly quick and accurate. Migrates simply across anything and everything and I autobackup to my cloud folder - that has saved my butt a few times!
I miss TreePad. It was versatile, yet unpretentious. Stores all my information in a relational format that gives easy access because of it's powerful search engine. I miss the certainty of good support and the confidence of having my information securely encrypted, the versatility to export that information in a number of relevant formats with the learning opportunities that that presents. I no longer have the opportunity to upgrade as my needs grow.
TreePad is a hierarchical database which stores articles in a hierarchical tree-like structure. It does this well. It comes with templates for storing information such as such things as book and music collections PIM, disk, Passwords and URL's Medium power wordrocessor and powerful export features into .html, .tpd, rtf files. Addons can do a mediocre job of .pdf and very useful, very professional .exe files. I find this program very useful and regret not updating to the enterprise edition while I was still able. It still maintains its functionality. It is still my main program of data storage with a functional search engine. Recommended.
