The Marchioness!!! Or, “The Matured Enchantress.”

dear internets,

during the last couple of weeks i have mostly abandoned you. i am very sorry. it's just that i've fallen in love. her name is kathryn janeway. she's the captain of a starship called voyager. maybe you've heard of her.

all i've been able to do since we met is look at her and read about her and think about her and talk about her. i am behind on everything. i have abandoned all my responsibilities. i am not well.

however, i hereby publicly state my solemn intention to attempt to regain some control over my life and my feelings. i will close tabs. i will read the news again. i will keep up with tumblr and twitter. maybe i will even reply to comments and send emails. i will start working on my damn writing assignment.

in short, i will attempt to stop being incapacitated by adoration and instead integrate it into my life, as i have managed to do with all the other women i love to a certain degree of success.

but first, just one more story.
